- What is the Reward Points Program?
To thank all of our loyal customers support and to offer future incentives for our customers, we want to give something back and this is why we have established the Reward Points Program for our online store.
Our Reward Points Program is as simple as it sounds. While shopping here at our online store you will earn Shopping Reward Points for the money that you spend. Once earned, you'll be able to use those points to pay for future purchases at Uncle Lee's Tea Online Store. Certain restrictions apply, see complete details (#16). Important: You must register an account in order for your spendings to qualify for Reward Points. No Reward Points are earned if you did not create an account first before you place an order.
The Reward Points Program began on Saturday 31 July, 2010. All valid purchases made by account holders after that date will earn points. All earned Reward Points will automatically expire 36 months from the date of issuance. Expired points will no longer be valid for credit usage.
- How does the Program work?
When you create a customer account with us and places an order, the total dollar amount spent on products of your order will be used to calculate the amount of Reward Points earned. The dollar amount is rounded up to the nearest 10th of a dollar. For example, an order for $9.87 worth of products will give you 99 points. *
These points are added to your account as pending points. All pending points are listed in your Reward Points Section at your Account Central and will stay there until approved/confirmed by Uncle Lee's Tea Online Store.
Once any pending points have been approved, they will be released and your account will be credited with the value of those points. Then, you can use your Reward Points balance to spend on future purchases, as long as the products qualify for use with Reward Points.
You must login to your account in order to view the status of your points.
During the checkout procces you'll be able to pay for your order with your points balance.

Currently, for every $1.00 USD spent at our online store, you will earn 5 points. Each Reward Point is worth $0.01 of shopping credit for future purchases.
For example:
You buy products worth: $100.00
You will earn 500 Reward Points
Total shopping credit value of the points earned: $5.00
All partial dollars are rounded up to the tenth of the dollar to calculate your points.
For example, spending a total of $18.23 (excluding shipping and taxes) will earn you 182 Reward Points.
Please note that we reserve the right to make changes to the above rate at any time without prior notice. The rate shown here will always be current.

If you have a balance in your Shopping Points Account, you can use those points to pay for future purchases at Uncle Lee's Tea Online Store.
During the checkout process, on the same page that you select shipping and payment methods, there will be a box that displays your Reward Points balance. To pay using your Reward Points balance, simply tick the box to use all available points.
Please note that you will still have to select another payment method if there is not enough in your Shopping Reward Points account to cover the entire cost of that purchase.
Continue the checkout procedure and at the confirmation page you'll notice that the value of the points redeemed will have been credited towards your order. Once you confirm your order, your Shopping Points account will be updated and the points used deducted from your balance.
Note that any purchase made by redeeming points will only be rewarded with additional points for the amount spent other than using points.
- Minimum Points Required
Currently, no minimum balance is required to redeem your points. Please note, you'll still have to select another payment method if there isn't enough in your Shopping Points account to cover the cost of your purchase.

- Shopping Points are only available to registered Uncle Lee's Tea Online Store members.
- Shopping Points Reward can only be collected and used with online purchases. and are only validated at Uncle Lee's Tea Online Store.
- Points are non-refundable and can't be transferred between members.
- Shopping Points are non-transferable or exchangeable for cash under any circumstances.
- Shopping Points can be exchanged for gifts during promotions.
- Shopping Points will not be refunded for any cancelled order.
- When buying with your Reward Points, you will still have to select another payment method if there is not enough credit in your Shopping Points account balance to cover the entire cost of your purchase.
- All earned Shopping Points have expiration dates in order safeguard member accounts.
